On 18 and 19 June 2026, the Deep-X 2026 cohort gathered at Templer Park Rainforest Retreat, Rawang, for the official offsite onboarding of SIDEC's Selangor Deep Tech Xcelerator. For Curasix, it was our second major SIDEC milestone in two weeks. Less ceremony than the launch event, more work. Exactly the way we like it.

From Idea to Scale
Salman Ahmad, Head of Startup and Digitalization at SIDEC, opened the first substantive session with a clear framework: Idea, Build, Scale. Each stage is backed by real SIDEC infrastructure, validation programmes, accelerator pipelines, corporate partnerships, and regional market access. It was not a motivational talk. It was a map.

Why Curasix Belongs in a Deep-Tech Cohort
Deep-X is built for companies where the product is the science, not a wrapper around someone else's API. Our AI Doctor Assistance engine is a purpose-built clinical reasoning layer trained on Malaysian patient interaction patterns. Getting into Deep-X confirms that what we are building sits in the right category.
Day 2 pushed beyond orientation into workshops, mentor introductions, and structured peer feedback. The cohort spans fintech, agritech, cleantech, and healthtech. That cross-pollination is the point. Problems that look unique to one domain almost always have a solved version sitting in another.
What We Are Taking Back
- Malaysian healthcare needs Malaysian-built infrastructure. Foreign clinic systems are not designed around LHDN e-invoicing, panel claims, or the Bahasa-English mix in every Malaysian consultation.
- Deep-tech takes longer, and that is a feature. The moat around Curasix is not the dashboard. It is years of iteration on how AI should work alongside a GP at the end of a 40-patient day.
- The cohort is an asset. Two days in a rainforest with your peers builds trust faster than six months of LinkedIn connections.
The Deep-X programme runs through the rest of 2026. We will share updates as milestones happen. If you run a clinic and want to see what AI-native clinic management looks like in practice, book a short demo.
